Swiss Imports Watch
Serial #1472
Interestingly, both cases have the same inner caseback stamping “011257_991”, which seems to be a case design or batch code rather than a unique serial number.
This is a CYMA 8 Days chronometre pocket watch from the Tavannes–Cyma group, most likely produced in the 1930s–1940s. There is no “Tavannes” signature on the dial or movement.
I own two examples of this model. One movement is numbered '1472', and the other is numbered '1580'. It is a relatively short serial number, but it is the only number for identifying each individual unit.
