Movement cover case has English Make Guaranteed to be made of two plates of 14 CT Gold with plate composition between and to wear 25 years. Number 17 beneath serial number 558581. This hunter case was a high quality gold filled case complete with inner hinged cover.

Correct script "Waltham" single sunk dial of the period. Believed original to the watch. Roman numerals with outer ring track. Needs a light clean. The scripted signature fits well with the period the Riverside was originally sold.

The Riverside was my first pocket watch purchase, before the Riverside I only acquired wrist watches dating from the 1940s to present. A gorgeous movement in its own right featuring a gold coloured star regulator wheel, raised gold jewel setting and demasking on every bridge plate.
