Elgin 3 Finger. A personal favorite. My goal on a restoration project is to build a period correct watch with the nicest parts I can find. And, to come as close to the condition of new. This often requires making multiple purchases to the nicest of components. This watch is a great example of that effort. This process also offers a great to opportunity to obtain the spare parts needed for future projects and repairs. So, I purchased the movement in 2006. Separately purchased the nice Crescent swing case the same year. Still another purchase to obtained the mnear mint double sunk dial and hands. Nice Micro adjusted regulator. The case was in poor condition. I sanded the case with 2000 sand paper, then polished. Installed a new crystal. Serviced the movement. Nice watch.

Three Finger Elgin . Nicely jeweled at 17j. Really a very nice restoration. I ware it occasionally.
