Research Notes
Gold Book lists this as KW Model 2, Hunting. However, material catalogs do not support a keywind movement. Instead, I believe this was the Model 2, Open Face, without worm escapement. Everything else is the same as Model 1. Open Face introduced in February 1889 (Keystone) and hunting introduced in July 1889 (Keystone). The nickel movements were later reissued in October 1894 with the Grade 30 and 31 classification.
