Research Note: According to the Halligan records: "To meet the demand for 23-jewel, hunting watches as few #961 - Pendant and Lever Set movements were changed to 23-jewel watches. No orders for this model were ever given to the Plate Department. Finished watches were taken out of stock and returned to the Factory for changing. They were re-modeled to conform with the #950." The subsequent production charts indicate 97 were made as lever-set and 44 were made as pendant-set. #750080 Verified as 951L [NAWCC] #750093 Verified as 951L [JH]
